     [Witness] lived with Ervin Prutzman and Rosalia Casterline from 1921 to 1967 at at 37 North Dickerson Street, Laurel Run Borough, Pennsylvania. The house had to be destroyed because of underground coal mine fires.^1,2 She was born on 17 October 1922 at Laurel Run Borough, Pennsylvania, daughter of Ervin Prutzman and Rosalia Casterline.^3,4 She was baptized on 17 June 1923 at Plains, Pennsylvania. Albert Casterline and Elsie Casterline witnessed the baptism. The baptism was performed by Pastor A.B. Russell. Note that her name, 'Arline', on the certificate is as she was originally named.⁵

Arlene Rose Prutzman was enumerated with Ervin Prutzman on the census of 9 April 1930 at Laurel Run Borough as Arline Prutzman. Listed as 7 years old, does not live on a farm, single, has attended school or college in last six months, born in Pennsylvania, as was her father and mother, she cannot read, write or speak English, occupation is 'none'.⁶
She was graduated on 13 June 1940 from James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.⁷ As of 1943, Arlene Rose Prutzman was also known as Arline Rose Pretzman.^1,2,3 Arlene changed her name from Arline.¹ She was a friend of Jack Kent Jack fathered son Randolph Gene Kent.¹

Arlene married Herman Slomovitz, son of Jacob Slomovitz and Freida Slomovitz.¹ Her married name was Slomovitz.¹ Arlene at the age of 25.²

Arlene married Robert Lewis Peirce, son of Arthur Henry Peirce and Elva Lucille Keith, on 15 August 1958 at Silver Spring, Maryland. The marriage certificate states that both bride and groom are divorced of a previous marriage. Groom's occupation listed as 'expeditor'.⁸ As of 15 August 1958,her married name was Peirce.⁹ She and Robert Lewis Peirce lived at 2001 Oglethorpe Street, Hyattsville, Maryland 12 September 1958.¹⁰ She and Robert Lewis Peirce lived at 7402 16th Avenue, Takoma Park, Maryland from 1962 to 1988 with Leesa Melanie Peirce and Bruce Robert Slomovitz.¹ James Eugene Radja, Carol Radja, Liz Syverson, Melinda Ann Radja, Gregory Andrew Radja, Lauren Syverson, Bruce Robert Slomovitz, Arlene Rose Peirce, Robyn Silverman Radja, Randolph Gene Kent, Karen Kent, Shelley Kent, Matthew Kent, Chau Slomovitz, Arthur Keith Peirce and Nancy Evelyn Peirce attended the wedding of James Eugene Radja Jr and Leesa Melanie Peirce on 3 June 1988 at Grace United Methodist Church, 7001 New Hampshire Avenue, Takoma Park, Maryland.¹¹ She died of injuries from an auto accident in North Carolina on 4 August 1988 at age 65.^1,4 She was buried in the Parklawn Memorial Park located in Rockville, Maryland. The Peirce graves are at 39deg 3min 52.2sec North Latitude and 77deg 6min 24.8sec West Longitude.
