Elva Lucille Keith was enumerated with Elva May Alexander on the census of 19 April 1910 at Cass Township, Ohio, as Elva L. Keith. Listed as 10 years old, single, born in Ohio as were her father and mother, she can read, write and speak English, has attended school, occupation is 'none'.⁵


Elva married Arthur Henry Peirce, son of Henry Pierce and Sarah Pierce, on 2 April 1923.^6,7 Her married name was Peirce.

Elva Lucille Keith was enumerated with Arthur Henry Peirce on the census of 15 May 1930 at 1206 G Street, Woodside, Maryland, as Lucile K. Peirce. Listed as 30 years old, married at age 23 years, has not attended school or college in last six months, born in Iowa whereas her father was born in Pennsylvania and her mother in Ohio, she can read, write and speak English, occupation is 'none'.⁷
Arthur and Lucille gathered with their family around 1968.⁸ She died on the Satuday before Easter Sunday in April 1979 at age 79.⁹ She was buried in the Parklawn Memorial Park located in Rockville, Maryland. The Peirce graves are at 39deg 3min 52.2sec North Latitude and 77deg 6min 24.8sec West Longitude.
