Harry married Grace Irene Savage, daughter of Bert Edgar Savage and Nellie Elizabeth Bonham, circa 1932. He served in the US Army from 1942 to 1946. Harry enlisted as a Private in the Army from 10 May 1945 until after the end of World War II. He enlisted at Fort MacArthur, San Pedro, California. His Army serial number was 39748032. His enlistment record shows him as married, being born in 1913, having four years of high school with a civilian occupation of automobile serviceman. After the war he served in the Japan Occupation Forces. He was drafted from an auto mechanic's job with Sears Roebuck. Sears held the job open for his return from the Army.^5,6 He attended the burial of Ernest Albert Miles on 25 October 1951 at in the Valhalla Memorial Park located in North Hollywood, California.^7,6 He attended the marriage of Caroline Elizabeth Gould and James Eugene Radja on 29 August 1954 at North Island Chapel, San Diego, California.⁶ He was employed as an automotive supervisor in retail merchandising circa 1955.
