     Philomena Dinstel Was an immigrant from Austria. Alias 'Minnie.' She was born on 13 May 1860, daughter of Agusta Dinstel and Rosalia Unknown.

Philomena married Mahlon Casterline, son of Joseph Casterline and Elizabeth Casterline, on 12 September 1878. Witnesses: Mrs. Dinstle, mother and Amehlia Fenner.
Family bible says took place in Mr Dinstle's "Toboharres"???1 As of 12 September 1878,her married name was Philomena Casterline. She Could not find in the 1880 census. In 1880. Philomena Dinstel was also known as Minnie Casterline.2

Philomena Dinstel was enumerated with Mahlon Casterline on the census of 8 June 1900 at Bear Creek Township, Pennsylvania, as Minnie Casterline. Listed as 40 years old, married 22 years with nine children - all living, born in Germany as was her mother and father, she can read, write and speak English, occupation 'none'.3


Philomena Dinstel was enumerated with Mahlon Casterline on the census of 18 April 1910 at 20 North Dickerson Street, Laurel Run Borough, Pennsylvania, as Minnie Casterline. Listed as 49 years old, married 31 years with ten children - all living, born in Germany as was her father and mother, immigrated in 1868 but not naturalized, she can read, write and speak English, occupation 'none'.4


Philomena Dinstel was enumerated with Mahlon Casterline on the census of 2 January 1920 at Laurel Run Borough as Minnie Casterline. Listed as 59 years old, mother and father born in Germany with mother tongue of German, able to read and write, place of birth Pennsylvania able to speak English with no occupation.5


Philomena Dinstel was enumerated with Mahlon Casterline on the census of 9 April 1930 at Laurel Run Borough as Minnie Casterline. Listed as 69 years old, does not live on a farm, has not attended school or college in last six months, born in Hamburg, Germany as was her mother and father, she can read, write and speak English, occupation is 'none'. She immigrated in 1869 and is naturalized.6
She died on 18 May 1935 at Pennsylvania at age 75. She was buried in the Fern Knoll Burial Park located in Dallas, Pennsylvania.2
