Robert lived with Hilda at 5510 Pershing Road in Downers Grove.6 At age 31, Robert became the father of James Herdman Scott on 31 December 1947.6 He died in 1965 at Downers Grove, Illinois. He was buried in the Clarendon Hills Cemetery located in Darien, Illinois.
