Listed as 8 years old, shown as having immigrated in 1913 and naturalization petition not applied for, born in Scotland with Scotch as her mother tongue as was her mother and father, she cannot read, write or speak English but is attedibng school, occupation is 'none'.¹

Scott and Robert Stuart Scott on the census of 15 May 1930 at 509 Race Street, Sunbury, Pennsylvania, as Margaret Scott. Listed as 19 years old, does not live on a farm, single, has not attended school or college in last six months, born in Scotland as were her father whereas mother was born in England, immigrated in 1912 and is naturalized, she can read, write and speak English, occupation 'tracer at a dye plant'. Spoke Scotch at home before immigrating.⁴
