     Warren Neal McCurdy was born on 22 September 1922 at Plainville, Kansas, son of Neal William McCurdy and Elsie Fay McCurdy.² He lived with Neal William McCurdy and Elsie Fay Percival from 1930 to 1938 at 500 South Monroe Street, Ellis City, Kansas. The residence period was probably a lot longer, but this is the only firm info available.^3,4

Warren Neal McCurdy was enumerated with Neal William McCurdy on the census of 19 April 1930 at Ellis City as Warren McCurdy. Shown as 7 years old, single, born in Kansas as was his father and mother.⁴
He entered military service on 23 December 1944.⁵

Warren married Margaret Bernice Corwin, daughter of John Francis Corwin and Ora Emma McGimsey, in 1945. The exact date of the wedding is unknown.¹ He was released from active duty with the US Army Air Corps as a Second Lieutenant on 21 November 1945 at Separation Base, Lincoln Army Air Field, Lincoln, Nebraska. He had served for almost 11 months with no overseas service. His specialty was listed as "PILOT TWO ENG 1051" designated as a 'surplus and non-essential AAF officer'. His Army serial number was "02 092 158". He was described a height 5ft 11in, 185 pounds weight with brown hair and brown eyes. He was shown as having one year of college education. His civilian occupation was shown as 'Rodman Surveying Crew'. At time of separation, Warren was married to Margaret McCurdy.^5,1 He upon leaving the Army, got a job with United Air Lines in customer service for several years.. He started in Denver, Colorado then to Midway in Chicago, then to Cleveland.¹ At age 23, Warren became the father of Cheryl McCurdy on 15 August 1946 at Cheyenne, Wyoming.¹ He was a finance manager for Fidelity Acceptance Corporation in 1953 at Denver, Colorado.⁶ At age 30, Warren became the father of Gary Warren McCurdy on 3 March 1953 at St. Anthony Hospital, 3001 Stuart Street, Denver, Colorado. Attending doctor was Nelson Goodman 3920 Tennyson St, Denver, CO.⁶ He witnessed the baptism of Gary Warren McCurdy on 11 April 1954 at Highlands Methodist Church, Denver, Colorado.⁷ He and Margaret McCurdy were divorced in 1961 at Ohio.¹

Warren married Inez B. Dugan at Ohio. The marriage license record is in Volume 0688, Page 0284. Her record key: 0117853823; his: 0117856891.^8,9 He was employed as a salesman for Latour Oldsmobile in 1965 at Cleveland, Ohio.¹⁰ He lived at 3162 West 88th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 1965.¹⁰ He died of viral hepatitis on 25 March 1966 at Charity Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio, at age 43. From the Cleveland Plain Dealer obituary of 28 March 1966: "Warren N. McCurdy, beloved husband of Inez (nee Dugan), father of Cheryl and Gary, son of Neal and Elsie of Denver, Colo., March 25, late residence, 3162 W. 88th St. Friends may call at Wm. F. Chambers Funeral Home, 4420 Rocky River Dr., where services will be held Monday, March 28, at 11 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery."¹⁰
He was buried on 28 March 1966 in the Calvary Cemetery located in Cleveland, Ohio. Burial services were performed by the William F. Chambers Funeral Home of 4420 Rocky River Drive, Cleveland, OH. The gravesite is located in Section 86, Lot 4910, Grave #3.¹⁰
