He was listed as of the Protestant religion and his occupation was wholesale salesman.10,4 He was buried on 10 March 1941 in the Goleta Cemetery located in Santa Barbara, California. Services were held at the McDermott Funeral Chapel, the Reverend Robert McLean presiding. The total funeral bill was $262, apparently picked up by son Owen Miles.10,11
