     Maybell Bernard was born on 16 September 1909, daughter of Inez Bernard.³

Maybell married William Jones Miles, son of Ernest Albert Miles and Elizabeth Melinda Jones, circa 1935 at Los Angeles, California. As of 1935,her married name was Maybell Inez Miles.⁴ She attended the burial of Ernest Albert Miles on 25 October 1951 at in the Valhalla Memorial Park located in North Hollywood, California.^5,4 She lived with Bill Miles circa 1960 at 230 South Mansfield, Los Angeles, California. His Death Report lists this as his last known address in the United States. This date is a speculation.⁶ She and William Jones Miles vacationed circa 1965. This photograph is the only evidence we have. She witnessed the 1967 war between Israel and several Arab countries in 1967 at Bethlehem. She was listed with the address P.O. Box 49 Bethlehem by the State Department circa 1969.⁶ She attended the death of William Jones Miles on 19 December 1969 at Al Makased Al Khairich Hospital, Mount of Olives, Jerusalem.^6,7 She died in August 1976 at Bethlehem at age 66. The SSDI says her last residence was 873 (U.S. Consulate) Tel Aviv, Israel.³
