Harold Otto Bartleson From His Funeral Card
     Harold Otto Bartleson was born on 28 March 1904 at Forest City, Iowa, son of Gustav Adolph Bartleson and Caroline Bartleson.2,1

Harold Otto Bartleson was enumerated with Gustav Adolph Bartleson on the census of 19 January 1920 at Forest City as Harold Bartleson. Listed as 16 years old, single, born in Iowa where as his mother and father were born in Norway. Not employed.3
He was graduated in 1922 from Forest City High School, Forest City.2

Harold married Caroline Christensen on 22 August 1930.2,1 He was a bricklayer in the family construction business. During World War II he travelled around the United States workinmg on various defense projects, including the Manhattan Project in Oakridge, Tennessee.2

Harold married Lorraine Hanson on 16 September 1967 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Forest City, Iowa.2,1 He lived at Lake Mills Care Center, Forest City, Iowa from 17 February 1991 to 15 July 1991.2 He died on 15 July 1991 at Forest City at age 87.2 Harold's biography was included in his funeral card.2 He was buried on 18 July 1991 in the Oakland Cemetery located in Forest City, Iowa. The funeral service was held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City.2
