Domenica Glavina was born on 5 July 1837 at Ramljane, Dalmatia, daughter of Josip Glavina and Antonija Unknown.1
Domenica married Mihovil Marasović, son of Nikola Marasović and Lukrecija Siriščević, on 9 February 1873. This was the second marriage for both as widow and widower. Grandmother Ivanica Prkić Marasovich has said that there more marriages by Domenica.1,2 As of 9 February 1873,her married name was Marasović.1 At age 36, Domenica became the mother of Andrija Marasović on 22 November 1873 at Split, Dalmatia. The family name was really Maras but the Austria-Hungary empire forced all to add the "ovic" to their names. The Maras are believed to be major land holders somewhere. His baptism certificate, hand written in Split, dated 17 October 1901, and signed by the pastor's assistant shows his birthday and parents as shown. A godfather was shown as Ante Popovic-Dageta.3,4,5,1
