     Ivan Granić was born in 1882 at Donji Muć, Dalmatia, son of Jakov Granić Trojan Granić.1,2

Ivan married Mara Zoro in 1910.2 Ivan became the father of Kata Granić in 1911.2

Ivan and Philip Martin Granich at age 24 arrived as immigrants aboard the SS Main on 7 November 1913 at Baltimore, Maryland. The SS Main left Bremen on 23 October. Filip and Ivan were on their way to St. Louis, Missouri to be with cousin Ante Granic at 1729 Dekalb Street. Filip is listed as 24 years old, single and 5' 6" tall. Both were listed as farm labor who could neither read or write. Their last address was Spalato, Dalmatia and both are listed as being born in Spalato. Filip has a father Josef Granic in Muc, Dalmatia and Ivan, at 30 years old, has a wife Mara in Spalato.1

Ivan became the father of Jela Granić in 1916.2 Ivan became the father of Ana Granić in 1921.2 Ivan became the father of Josip Jakov Granić in 1926.2 Ivan became the father of Iva Granić in 1928.2 Ivan became the father of Jakov Granić in 1931.2 Ivan became the father of Marija Granić in 1934.2 Ivan became the father of Ivan Granić in 1936.2
