Listed as 15 years old, single, born in January 1885 in Illinois, father born in Illinois, mother born in Indiana, can read and write and speak English, employed as a servant and farm laborer at the farm of Charles M. Williams.⁴

Clet married Minnie H. Graham.¹ He and Minnie H. Graham lived at Montana with Tom A. Jones and Harry C. Jones. They were homesteading a farm.¹ He was granted a US Land Patent for 320 acres described as:

Jones at 3915 West Walker St, Seattle, being of age 33, native born on 15 January 1885. Listed as of medium height and build with blue eyes and brown hair. He listed his employment as: laborer at the Seattle North Pacific Ship Yard located at the West Waterway in Seattle, King County, Washington.²

Listed as 35 years old, married, born in Iowa, father born in Illinois, mother born in Illinois, can read and write and speak English, employed as a telegraph operator. Enumerated with the head of household was/were Tom A. Jones, Harry C. Jones and Minnie H. Graham.³

Listed as 45 years old, renting his house with a radio for $45 per month, married at 27 years old, born in Illinois as were his mother and father. Employed as an operator of a steam shovel. Not a veteran. Enumerated with the head of household was/were Minnie H. Graham, Tom A. Jones and Harry C. Jones.⁶
Clet owned a stone quarry in the Long Beach area. The family lived in a house that did not have indoor plumbing. Clet drove a fast Cadillac auto.⁷ He and Minnie H. Jones lived circa 1946 at Hemet, California.⁷ He was employed as a contractor for streets and roads from 1947 to 1951 at Gold Hill, Oregon.⁸ He and Minnie H. Jones lived at Gold Hill from 1947 to 1951.⁸ He died of General Debilitation, Anemia and Carcinoma on 21 December 1951 at Gold Hill at age 66. Certificate # 13515. Spouse is listed as "Minnie H.".^8,9 He was buried Hemet. His death certificate states that he was buried in Hemet, Riverside County, California.⁸
