Rae Marie Carlson was born on 19 November 1931 at Lombard, Illinois, daughter of
Albert Charles Carlson and
Ruth Marie Carlson.
1 She Attended Glenbard West High School in Lombard. Attended MacMurray College (girls only at the time, now coed) in Jacksonville, Illinois. Graduated with BA degree in 1953. Taught kindergarten in Lombard and nearby towns for thirty years. Met Ron May while in temporary job at an insurance agency in summer of 1953.

Gladys Adkins, on 18 December 1954 at Lombard. Same church as Mary Lee and Greg were married.

1 At age 26, Rae became the mother of
Norman Walter May on 15 July 1958.
1 At age 28, Rae became the mother of
Mary Lee May on 23 April 1960 at Lombard.
1 She lived with
Ronald May from 1989 to 2009 at Crystal Falls, Michigan. Built this home himself on two acres of land. Crystal Falls is on the Paint River near Runkel Lake. Local people use hydro-electric power from a dam on the Paint River.

Ronald May travelled travelled to Alaska by cruise ship. In 1995 to an unknown place .
1 She attended the marriage of
Mary Lee May and
Gregory Andrew Radja on 24 June 1995 at Lombard.
2 She died of a brain aneurysum on 10 March 2009 at Crystal Falls at age 77. She is expected to be cremated with burial services later in the year to avoid family travelling in winter weather.
