Caroline married Warren Cross Gould, son of Nathan Gould and Huldah Cross, in 1847 at Machias.2
Caroline Belle Ashcraft was enumerated with Warren Cross Gould on the census of 19 August 1870 at Sheridan Township, Michigan, as Caroline A. Gould. Listed as '42 years old, born in New York, keeping house'.3
She is shown with 40 acres of land just south of Fremont Lake in 1880 at Sheridan Township.4
Caroline Belle Gould is shown as head of household on the US census of 1 June 1880 at Sheridan Township as Caroline Gould. Listed as head of household. Enumerated with the head of household was/were Francis Leslie Gould, William E. Gould, Henrietta Jane Hall, Francis Gould and Eva Gould.5
She died on 17 April 1893 at Fremont, Michigan, at age 65.6,1 She was buried in the Maple Grove Cemetery located in Fremont, Michigan.
