Daniel Hĺland was Daniel used to work as a carpenter until he took over the farm after his father. After the farmland was sold for building lots, he went to Bible school in Oslo. He then began work as a preacher for 'Ryfylke og Jćren Indremisjon'. He was Type: Yrke Daniel var fřrst třmmermann (han gikk pĺ Teknikken under krigen). Senere overtok han farsgarden. Da den ble utlagt til tomter i 1964, gikk han pĺ Bibelskolen i Staffeltsgate i Oslo. Han ble deretter ansatt som forkynner i Ryfylke og Jćren Indremisjon. Reference: 49. He was born on 15 January 1918 at Madla, Stavanger, son of Samuel Haaland and Johanna Bergsaker.
Daniel married Johanna Fossĺ, daughter of Olav Fossĺ and Karen Gurine Kjosavik, on 6 April 1982 at Gand kirke, Sandnes. He was retired in 1985. He died on 26 September 1997 at Stavanger at age 79. He was buried on 2 October 1997 Revheim, Stavanger. Begraves fra Revheim kirke kl. 13.00.
