Odd married Marta Jakobsdtr., daughter of Jakob Ingebrigtson Hebnes and Anna Nilsdotter, on 25 June 1833 at Jelsa Kyrkje, Jelsa. He was master sawyer (sagmester) at his fathers sawmill before 1850 at Kjřlvik, Jelsa. He appeared on the census of 1865 at Fosaaen. He died in 1872 at Fossĺ, Hjelmeland.
