Split 9 of September 1976.
Dear aunt and uncle!
I was expecting your letter thinking that you will answer back and write few words to that letter I sent four months ago. We are all worried about you, are you in pain or something else happened.
Let me write you about us. We are thank God all well except mom. She is sick, rheumatic pain but she can still get up. Nobody lives in the village since father died, mom is living with us but we drive her to see the house whenever she wants to. This year we planted some wheat, corn and potatoes and next year probably nothing because it is hard to work in Split and in Ogorje even though it doesn’t take long to get from Split to Ogorje. All our family, including Mate, Ante, Jakov and five sisters are well as are their children. My son Zeljko is starting school – 1st grade, Josko is still in Kindergarten. Little Tatjana daughter of Ante is now 2nd grade.
Dear family write how are you, what is new. Nothing else to write about so I will finish. Receive greetings from all of us here, Ivana, Dadicuse and Zeljko and Josko are sending a lot of kisses. Write how are your kids.
Bye!
