Dear Dragica,
We are all thank God well, how are you and how is your family?
Dear Dragica two days ago I received your package, with few dresses and a small coat, newspaper where you marked pages with your James. We all thank you for everything and we cannot find the right words what to say. We pray to God for your health and for us to meet one time. Dear Dragica you wrote in your letter that you will send coats for the kids and for me, but there was only one inside so I don’t if that is right. Inside was one pair of shoes, my number and some dresses which are my size. The package Zorka sent didn’t come yet, as soon as I get it I will write to her, but I don’t know her address. Dear Dragica I have to ask if you have some underwear from your kids or some shirts, because we don’t have that here. Little Visnja has Communion soon but you cannot get a veil here, so if you o if Zorka has, could you please send it to me for the next year.
Dear Dragica, when I look at the picture of your James I can’t believe that you have a son this big he is very nice. And my girls are showing his picture to everybody. All your kids are beautiful. Dear Dragica don’t be mad at me for not sending you our photo, we will send you soon.
How is aunt Ivanica and uncle Andrija? Say hi to them, also to Zorko, Marija and Eduardo, and to Anka when you will write to her. Do you have her picture? I didn’t receive any letter from aunt Antonjela even though I wrote a few to her, I don’t know why is she not writing back. I don’t know if she is maybe mad at me. Pleas Dragica if you see her tell her that I said hi and that I will write again.
We are still in Mostar and I don’t know when we will move to Sarajevo because there are no available apartments. There are two or three families in one apartment. Biggest one has two rooms and a kitchen and that is for a big family with 8 members. Now they are building new ones but that is not enough. We have to be patient, and everything will be ok. Vinko said hi and his family also.

Dear Dragica I have just received a package from Zorka you cannot imagine how happy everybody is, as when we received yours. I got two pairs of shoes. Dear Dragica I cannot thank you enough. May God give you good health and happiness, may you be happy with your children and husband and may we meet in this lifetime.
