Dear cousin Jakov!
Finally I will write down few words after long time. I am alive and well but I cannot say that everything else is good. Dear cousin I wish that this letter will find you and your family in good health. Now let me write about how I am, it caught me the old age and sickness that I will write about. I have to ask you something my never forgotten cousin. My dear cousin I have one son born on 19 of May 1926. but it would have been better if he were never born because he is no condition to live. He is sick since 15 of June 1941. he has chronically tuberculosis of bones. This is incurable disease and that is why I am asking you my dear cousin and your family to help me with this problem together if its possible. My son is in the hospital in Biograd on see, but the pains are getting worse, I talked to his doctors and they gave an advice. They said if I have somebody in America to send me a package of injections for tuberculosis of bones. They said that this medicine is the last thing that could work. My dear cousin Jakov, please if it’s possible please send me this medicine how much you can. Doctor gave a prescription – STREPTOICI”. Now my dear cousin I will finish now and I want to thank you in advance, say hi to everybody. I wish you all the luck in the world.
