My dear cousin let me answer on your letter after all this time. I beg you to forgive me for not answering sooner but I could not write to you. My wife and I are well and we wish you the same. To you, your father and mother and to everybody else. May God give you good health and happiness and good luck. You wrote to me that if I remember you to write you back and I remember you when you were little. What are you writing that you are working from early morning till late but is i hard to work, how much do you earn for a day. It is hard to get work here and living is hard. Let me write about the weather, it is not cold here, it has been two months and no rain, but the wind is strong almost every day.
Dear cousin Dragica, what are you writing about my family. I have nobody I had four daughters with my late wife but the war divided us. I had to go to war and everybody died. After the war, I got married again but I don't have children with this wife, I am all alone in strange world. If I could I would come to you as I am alone and I am working all the time and have nothing everything is expensive and it is hard to live. For now I will finish, receive greetings for you your father, mother, and everybody else. Me your uncle Prkic Filip. May you live long and may God give you good health. I am waiting for an answer.
