Dear brother and sister in law!
First, I can tell you that we are all well thank God. But we are worried and sad that we haven’t received any letter for 11 months. What happened, I wrote three letters but no answer, and I don’t know the reason. Are you mad if you are please forgive me, but I am afraid of other things, sickness and trouble. I beg you to write to us if anybody is alive and don’t keep secrets from us. Some things are new here and I think you know it, or royal highness King Aleksandar died in France on 9 of October 1934.
Again, I ask you to write as soon as you receive this letter. Receive greetings from Jandra, Marta, Cvita and their families, then from your brother and uncle Josip and his family. And here is your never forgotten brother and uncle Mate.
