Split 15 of March 1952.
Dear aunt!
First let me tell you that I am well thank God and I wish you the same. I received your letter and with it documents for my trip. Everything is OK with the documents except with the two that I am sending back to you. They are not validated by the embassy of Yugoslavia in Chicago. Our government here is asking that those two documents that I am sending back have to be validated by Yugoslav consul in Chicago. That is why I am asking you to do it as fast as possible and return it back to me. You are asking me when and how I am planning to come, I don’t know now because it all depends when I will get the documents. Concerning the trip I am planning to take a boat it is comfortable and cheaper. Nothing else to write about I just have to repeat to validate and send me the documents as soon as possible because without it I cannot get a passport and I can’t go.
Greetings to everybody! Your nephew Mate
