My dear brother Jakov!
After long time I am writing to you. I can tell you that I am well and I wish the same to you and your family, good health and happiness. Now my dear brother what is with you, why are you not writing for so long. Know this I want to know what is with you and beside that I would like if its possible for you to help me with a suit as it is very hard to get anything here without a small book and points (after the war it was a way of payment). It is hard to get a small book and if somebody gets it, it has very small number of points so you cannot get many things. So I have to ask you if you can and if you will help me or if you don’t want to or can’t, I know that you already helped me before and now you have forgotten me. If you can send me some material so I can make something close to our fashion and customs. Other finished clothes are not good for me maybe just the coat but do send a lot of thread as it is hard to get it here even black or white and it is hard to live without it because you can’t fix anything. Know that I am very poor here I have nobody to help me, beside you brother. For now nothing else new, greetings to you and your family and write back immediately so I can hear what is with you. And if you can’t help me at least write, so I can know what is with you and your family.
Bye! Greetings! From me who is writing this M. Zmiric
