Dear brother!
I have some time to write to you and tell you that I am well, but I am not satisfied here in Derventa (Bosnia) as I have much to do. I received your letter and a photograph and I was really happy to see you even though it is just a photo. I am relived and happy for it. Dear brother what are you writing about Ivan, he got married and he now lives in Omis close to the cement factory. I don’t know how he lives because I have never visited him.
Nothing else is new, don’t forget your mother, my situation is not good now so I cannot help her. I have to apologize for the mistakes in the letter but mostly I use Cyrillic letters so this is a change. I was transferred to Derventa three months ago so when you write use z.p. Derventa.
