Dear sister in law,
I can tell you that we are alive and well thank God and we wish you the same. Now dear sister in law I am thinking what is with you, are you alive because I have not received any letter from you for 9 months. I wrote to you this is the third letter, but no answer. If you are mad at me forgive me, but I do not remember what could have offended you in my letters. I ask you as my sister in law and my brother to write to me while we are alive, me and Jakov, please write how are you is everyone alive and well (page 1) and how is your son Jakov how is he doing in school. Now my dear sister in law let me write about what is new here, nothing new everything is the same as before. Now let me write to you about my children, Grga is in the army, Jakov is in Banat working and Mate is in Split working, Iva is in Vojvodina in Backa where she was before. The crops were not that good this year. Now with this I will end this letter. Receive a greeting from me and my family and from your sisters Jandra, Marta and Cvita
