Dear Dragica,
Couple of days ago I received your letter. Yesterday I received the package you and aunt sent. Thank you for everything, everything is wonderful and everything fits as if it was made for us. That black dress and black coat exactly for me and that sports jacket, a skirt and that coat for my husband as if it was made for him. He is very happy and he cannot thank you enough. Black shoes with high heels they fit me, and other pairs will be for Jelkica and Nevenka. My children want to thank you for underwear you sent (6 pairs we found), two pairs of gloves and coffee, which my mom took immediately for herself because she likes it very much and it makes her very happy.
My dear Dragica you helped me a lot and I don’t know how to thank you and I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t got this form you. Children go to school and they should look good. When they are dressed well everybody says to me that they are dressed well and something nice about them. And when I have something new on me everybody turns around and looks because you cannot find such nice things here. Yesterday I went to the hairdresser and I wore red skirt with flowers and white blouse I think you sent it or Tonka. Everybody turned and at the salon they asked where did I get it. The stuff that you sent in the first package for kids people say that it is very nice material. I made couple of blouses to go with that. I wrote a letter to Vinko about that medicine.
Did James come back and how are Dolores and Dana. We are still in Mostar and we don’t know when are we going to get an apartment in Sarajevo. My husband comes sometimes to see us, but he is very busy and it cost a lot to come to Mostar. How are you and your husband we are thank God well.
Say hi to Zorka, did her daughter get married. She is a very happy mom, she has grandchildren. When are we going to have grandchildren? You have your James and it is beautiful to see young mom and grownup son. How is little Thomas, he is a kid as is my Visnjica. Summer brake is now, so no school and more time to play. Say hi to your mother and father, and greetings to all of you from my mother, kids and me.
Please thank in our name aunt Ivanica for the package she sent. Hi to aunt Antonjela and uncle Petar. Say hi to Marica and Eduardo and his wife.
