Ogorje 4th of September 1926.
Dear brother!
First I can tell you that we are well thank God and we wish you the same. I received your letter you wrote on 12 of July 1926 and I wrote you back immediately. In that letter, you sent 1 dollar to our mother. Now I received another letter which you sent on third of August 1926 and I understood everything you wrote in it. I received 1 dollar in the letter and a check for 20 dollars, which you sent to our mother. What you write about crops, grain was good but situation with potatoes and cabbage is not so good. It is very hot now here and for six weeks now we didn’t have any rain, potatoes and cabbage are ruined. What are you writing about 20 dollars you sent through bank on 23 of October 1925, we didn’t receive anything as I already told you in last three letters. But we did receive through bank from Belgrade 20 dollars on 13 of June 1926. now we don’t know if that was what sent in 1925 or this year, you should know that, as you didn’t tell us that you sent something through mail. What are you writing about Ivan he is in Omis he has a store, I have visited him last year. He is well, he got married and he has a child. I just received a letter from him on first of September 1926. Here is Ante’s address:
