Dear uncle and aunt!
I wanted to answer your letter as soon as possible. We were very happy when we heard that you are well because we were very worried about you. We are glad that you are OK that you are not ill. What did you write about aunt that she was in a hospital for back pains (rheumatism) and that she is feeling better now. Me and the rest of the family wish her good health and we hope you will visit us this summer so someone will be able to translate for us, otherwise we will not understand a word. Our dear and loved aunt and uncle everybody asked if you would be able to come. Now I will write and answer all your questions, how do we live thank God we are not bad. Concerning mom she is up, she had pneumonia but she is feeling better now. You asked about the rest of the family they are well, (I cannot read the names) they are in college, Jelena daughter of Ante goes to medicine school she finished few days ago. Tatjana is in the third grade, Zeljko son of Ivan is in the second grade, and Josko is in the kindergarten. Josko son of late Grga is in the navy academy. Jandra's kids Vinka is finishing eight grade, Zeljka is in the college, Damir son of Marta is also in college. Dragica daughter of Jakov is economy school, Nada is working. Mirko son of Ivo finished college. Kids of Jela, one is still in school Stipe, Marko is working in a hospital, Ivica and Milan are still in an elementary school. They are all well. What did you write about how is Ankica, they are well, Marina is big I am sending you a picture of her the address is Marasoviceva 2, Solta (an island). My dear aunt you wrote how nice it is in country, this year they could not plant the seeds because it rained every day. Ivica and Mate went today to plant some potatoes if it doesn't rain. You asked if Marija is still alive, she and Ante are alive and well. Vicko and Jozo Pestina are building houses, the asphalt came to our village, the road through Pribude, Jukici and Milesina. Now my dear I have to say hello from all our family. We ask you to come if you can, write to us soon so we can know what is with you. I forgot to say that I received photographs and everybody came by to see them. Now my dear aunt and uncle write to us when Dolores is coming we hope we will see you also. Now receive greetings from me, Stipe, Ankica, Marija and Marina. Greetings from mom, Ivan, Ivo, Ante, Iva, Mate, Marta, Jandra and her family.
